Elcos Generators

Elcos is an Italian manufacturer of generating sets. The company was founded over 30 years ago and is based near the northern Italian town of Cremona – around a 1 hour drive from Milan Linarte airport. From its 24,000m2 facility, Elcos manufacturers over 3,500 generating sets per year with a full-load capacity of up to twice this value. The company operates a full research & development program and its sales network extends across the global standby power protection market.

Principle to the success of Elcos is its investment in its manufacturing and engineering capabilities that enable one of the fastest lead times within the generator market. The current product range runs up to 3MVA. Elcos provides a full customisation service including the construction of bespoke shelters and containers. The company has also invested extensively in its own range of control panels of which the QPE-C is one of the most advanced in the market.

Elcos Generators and Riello UPS (RPS)

Riello UPS is the largest European-based manufacturer of uninterruptible power supplies and a respected brand within its principle market segments: IT, datacentres industrial applications.

In 2010 Riello UPS established a trading arrangement with Elcos to sell and maintain its generating sets through its UK subsidiary, Riello UPS Ltd.
